SC Horror Con 2025
A quick recap of the fun we had at SC HORROR 3D in Columbia, SC

This year, I had the amazing opportunity to be part of the SC Horror Convention in Columbia, SC. This time, not as a fan walking the floor, but from behind my very own table. My family and I have always loved attending this event. With our shared passion for horror, the incredible guests who attend, and the unique vendors that offer something for everyone, it felt like the perfect time to take the leap and showcase my own work.
I’ve done smaller events before, including book signings, releases, and local pop-ups, and each one has been its own adventure. But this was on a whole different level—more people, more conversations, and more chances to connect. People stopped by to ask questions, make purchases, and follow my journey, and I’m so grateful for every single interaction.

Now, I’m naturally a shy person. I don’t talk much, which is why you don’t see me on video very often (writing has always been where I’m most comfortable). But with every event I attend, it gets a little easier—a little less scary—and a lot more fun.
I met so many wonderful people who came up to my table. I even had the chance to meet Bam and David Howard Thornton, which was surreal! I also met author Nick Roberts, someone I’ve followed for a while and have on my TBR list. I couldn’t pass up the chance to ask about his own writing journey.

There are more events ahead—some already planned and others I’m keeping a close eye on—and I couldn’t be more excited. I hope to see familiar faces and meet new ones along the way. Some of these events will be here in South Carolina, and others will take me to nearby states.
Thank you, SC Horror Con, for an unforgettable year!
